Deputy Minister of the Department of Energy at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Matsatejo bin Sokiaw attended a religious event marking the 29th Civil Service Day at RPN Kampong Pandan Mosque in the Belait District yesterday.
Permanent Secretary (Sports) at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS) Pengiran Mohd Amirrizal bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud was also present.
The event began with a mass Asar prayer followed by the recitation of Surah Yaasiin and Doa by RPN Kampong Pandan Mosque Head Imam Abdul Qayyum bin Haji Aminnuddin.
Similar ceremonies were held in Brunei-Muara, Tutong and Temburong districts.
Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Deputy Minister at the PMO Dato Seri Paduka Haji Sufian bin Haji Sabtu and Permanent Secretary (Civil Service Governance) at the PMO Ajman bin Haji Meludin were present.
