    Religious education key to advancing Islamic teachings

    In an effort to review the implementation of registration and admission activities of new students in Year 7 and 9 in Arabic schools for the year 2025, Head of Arabic Schools Division, Islamic Studies Department, Ministry of Religious Affairs Pengiran Mohammad Aminuddin bin Pengiran Haji Hussin paid a working visit to the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha Girls Arabic Religious Secondary School (SUAMPRIPAHS) yesterday.

    The event commenced with the reading of the Doa Selamat led by Ustaz Mohd Nazerul Wafiq bin Haji Mohd Hussin followed by a welcoming speech from Acting Principal of the school Dayangku Aidi Noorintan binti Pengiran Haji Md Zinin.

    The Acting Principal shared that Arabic religious education remains an important agenda in the development of Islamic teachings. Addressing the new enrolments, she said that they will be facing a new environment, partake in new activities and practise a new culture.

    In light of this, the school hopes for the students to possess high spirit and determination in meeting the new challenges and demands throughout their duration of study.

    The school also affirmed that they will place high importance in the well-being of the students adding that they will not only shape students who deliver academic excellence but also possess noble morals, great leadership and awareness of social responsibility. – Fadhil Yunus
