The Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association (PPNBD) through its religious hall takmir committee, with support from the Brunei-Muara District Scouts Association, held a religious ceremony to celebrate the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) at its religious hall in Beribi on Wednesday.
The event began with a mass Maghrib prayer, led by Scouts Commissioner (Religious) Skip Haji Rosaimi bin Haji Othman, followed by dikir and mass Isyak prayer.
The association will conduct similar events for 12 consecutive nights.
PPNBD president Dato Paduka Ar Haji Idris bin Haji Abas was the guest of honour.
PPNBD chief commissioner Haji Junaidi bin Haji Hussin, vice president, scout commissioners, district scout commissioners, assistant district commissioners, scouts executive officers, scouts leaders, assistant scouts leaders and scouts members were also present. – Lyna Mohamad
