Some 584 Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) students attended an online Doa Selamat ceremony yesterday for the upcoming 29th convocation.
Director of Technical Education cum IBTE Chief Executive Officer Dr Haji Mohd Zamri bin Haji Sabli was the guest of honour.
The event began with a mass recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by the guest of honour followed by recitation of Surah Al-Mulk led by IBTE student Muhammad Qamarul Hamizan bin Minor Absah.
The event continued with a Dikir Marhaban by male religious teachers led by Shaifulbahri bin Haji Ahmad and Haji Japar bin Haji Mohd Yusof.
The ceremony concluded with a recitation of Doa Kesyukuran read by IBTE student Muhammad Alimin bin Haji Mahli.
