The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) Islamic Religious Body held a Korban ceremony at its surau in Gadong recently.
Commissioner of Police Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohammad Irwan bin Haji Hambali led the celebrations by distributing the sacrificial meat.
Also present were Deputy Commissioner of Police Dato Seri Pahlawan Sulaiman bin Alidin, Deputy Superintendent of Police and Islamic Religious Body Chairman Mohammad Amiruddin bin Haji Tunjang, directors and deputies, formation chiefs, commanding officers, senior officers, ranks and civilian staff of RBPF.
Meanwhile, Kampong Sungai Besar Mosque Takmir Committee also held a similar ceremony recently. Five buffaloes were slaughtered including one buffalo for Aqiqah.
Mosque Takmir Committee Advisor Haji Mohiddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman distributed the Korban meat to the poor and the destitute.
