A rehearsal for His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s 76th birthday celebration get-together ceremony with citizens and residents in Temburong District was conducted on the field of Community Hall Complex in Pekan Bangar.
Minister of Home Affairs Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, who is the chairman of the National Committee for His Majesty’s 76th birthday celebration, oversaw the rehearsal.
Permanent secretaries, deputy permanent secretary, heads of departments, senior officers and staff from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA), Acting Temburong District Officer and executive administrative committee members for His Majesty’s 76th birthday celebration for Temburong District were also present.
The get-together ceremony with citizens and residents in Temburong District is set to take place on July 19 at the field of Community Hall Complex in Pekan Bangar.
Members of the public wishing to attend the ceremony are required to comply with standard operating procedures (SOPs), such as antigen rapid testing and uploading the result onto the BruHealth app or take a picture of the result with the name, date and time before heading to the field.
Individuals with fever, cold, flu, cough and difficulties in breathing are advised against attending the ceremony.
Individuals are encouraged to wear face masks, use hand sanitiser frequently, avoid physical greetings and practise social distancing.
