The two-day Yes2Malaysia Education Expo 2024 concluded to a resounding success. The first day of the event saw registrations doubling in number compared to previous years.
Held at Mulia Hotel, the event showcased 28 of Malaysia’s top universities and Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education drawing a large crowd of students and parents, eager to explore Malaysian education.
The booths of participating universities were kept busy throughout the expo, with representatives answering questions about programmes, scholarships, and the overall student experience in the neighbouring country.
The diverse range of academic offerings, spanning from engineering and medicine to business and the arts, captivated the visitors, highlighting the breadth of opportunities available. The expo went beyond showcasing academic excellence with cultural performances, industry expert talks and interactive workshops, allowing students to forge connections and network with university representatives and potential employers.
“The turnout exceeded our expectations, reflecting the deep interest in Malaysian education. We are committed to organising even bigger and better events in the future, further bridging the gap between Bruneian students and top-notch Malaysian universities,” said Rozi from MEG Educational Services, a partner of Yes2Malaysia.
With its focus on academic excellence, cultural exchange, and individual empowerment, the event ignited a spark of opportunity for students, paving the way for a brighter future filled with knowledge, growth, and success, the organiser said. – Lyna Mohamad
