The Ministry of Education (MoE) in collaboration with Datastream Digital Sdn Bhd (DST), Progresif Sdn Bhd and Mach Telecommunications Systems Sdn Bhd (MachTel) will offer short messaging service (SMS) for the upcoming Primary School Assessment (PSR) examination results, said the ministry in a statement yesterday.
Parents and students can register via SMS and will need to input the following text ; MOE<space>REG<space>CENTRE CODE<space>CANDIDATE NUMBER and send to 8885555 for DST subscribers, 38666 for Progresif subscribers and 39966 for Imagine subscribers.
“No charges will be applied for registration made through mobile phones. Parents or guardians and students may begin subscribing starting today,” said the MoE.
The results will only be sent to subscribers via SMS upon approval from the Department of Examinations. Subscribers will be charged BND3 for each SMS result received.
