The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS), through the Youth and Sports Department, is set to hold the National Al-Quran Reading Competition for Youth for 1445 Hijrah.

The competition is open to citizens and permanent residents, between 15-30 years old (born between January 1, 1994 and December 31, 2009) and has not won any international Al-Quran reading competition organised by the Malaysian government or Southeast Asian Al-Quran reading competition for youth organised by the MCYS.
The preliminary stage of the competition has been set for May 8-11, while semi-finals on May 19 and the finals on June 6. The deadline is February 29.
