Participants of the five-day first aid course for supervisors of secondary schools and colleges’ Red Crescent cadets received their certificates on Wednesday.
The ceremony held by the Ministry of Education (MoE), through the Uniformed and Community Services Unit of the Department of Co-Curriculum Education in collaboration with the Brunei Red Crescent Society (BRC) took place at the foyer of the Department of Co-Curriculum Education in Kampong Lambak Berakas.
Acting Director of the Department of Co-Curriculum Education at the MoE Julaihi bin Mohamad/Mohamat was the guest of honour.
The course began on March 16 and was attended by 30 supervising teachers of Red Crescent cadets from 12 secondary schools and colleges.
The course aimed to provide skills for supervising teachers to provide first aid in emergency situations.
