COVID-19 patients, who have recovered and discharged from home isolation, are discouraged from undergoing RT-PCR testing as it will only detect dead virus fragments. This was said by Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar in response to a media query regarding the current health protocols for COVID-positive case on quarantine order.
