Recognition for long service

A total of 167 officers and rank-and-file personnel from the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) received the Long Service Medal during a ceremony held at the RBPF Headquarters in Gadong yesterday.

Acting Commissioner of Police Dato Seri Pahlawan Sulaiman bin Alidin presented the medals.

Also in attendance were directors, deputy directors and senior officers of the RBPF.

The medals served as a recognition and appreciation of the Government of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam to public servants who have been in service for 20 years as well as a motivator for recipients to continue to serve the country.
