The second batch of candidates of the NBT (Brunei) Sdn Bhd After-Sales Scholar who signed as mechanics thanked NBT for giving them the opportunity to be a member of the company.
Speaking to the Weekend Bulletin, Arnol Luqmanal Hakeem bin Haji Rozaini shared that the opening was shared through a WhatsApp group. He said they had to go through a three-step process which included an interview, written test and practical test. His course at Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) and his internship at a Berakas workshop helped him through the process.
Sharifah Norhazwani binti Wan Norsani wanted to give it a try when she learnt of the opening. She said, “I had a lot of pressure during the process being the only female but during the test, which covered mostly on Hybrid, I applied whatever I learnt from IBTE and I was surprised to come out top in the segment.”
She hoped to gain as much knowledge and experience through the opportunity.
Muhammad Nasiruddin Amzar bin Haji Aminuddin had his lecturer texted him privately and helped him with the application process as he finds potential in him. He hoped to gain more job experience and to permanently stay at NBT.
