The Muara Port Company Sdn Bhd (MPC) donated household necessities to 12 underprivileged families in the Tutong District as part of its annual charity and corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme yesterday.
The charity drive, Ihsan Kasih, aimed to aid families in Mukim Ukong, especially during the holy month of Ramadhan and ahead of Hari Raya Aidilfitri festivities.
MPC Chief Executive Officer Wei Jinfeng and Chief Operating Officer Fazilah bin Yassin led 30 MPC staff and management during the event. The delegation was assisted by the Penghulu of Mukim Ukong Haji Mohammad Danial bin Abdullah Yakub and Kampong Long Mayan Village Head Muhammad Hafizul Azmee bin Abdullah Zaman. – Lyna Mohamad
