The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) will enhance its operational readiness through a comprehensive training exercise scheduled for today.
The exercise will take place at the Special Forces Complex in Kampong Sungai Akar.
The training, designed to simulate real-life scenarios, aims to equip RBPF personnel with the skills and tactics to respond effectively to various law enforcement challenges. Officers will undergo rigorous drills and simulations to enhance their preparedness and coordination in handling emergencies.
Meanwhile, in a separate exercise, RBPF will conduct a shooting exercise for officers, escorts and motorcycle escorts.
According to the RBPF’s schedule, the shooting exercises will take place at the RBPF Shooting Range Complex at Kampong Sungai Akar. The exercises will be from 7.45am until 4.30pm on June 3 to 5.
In light of the exercise, the RBPF requested public cooperation to ensure a smooth operation. Individuals are advised not to approach the training area during the specified times to avoid any disruptions and to prevent misunderstandings.
The RBPF said these exercises are essential for maintaining the proficiency of RBPF officers in firearms handling and marksmanship as well as to maintain public safety and security, ensuring its commitment to serve and protect the community.
