The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) organised a religious event to commemorate the 102nd anniversary of its establishment at the surau of its headquarters in Gadong yesterday.
Commissioner of Police Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohammad Irwan bin Haji Hambali was the guest of honour.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Dato Seri Pahlawan Sulaiman bin Alidin, DSP Mohamad Amiruddin bin Haji Tunjang, as the chair of the Islamic religious body, along with directors, deputy directors, head of formation, commanding officers, senior officers and officials from RBPF also attended.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Yaasiin followed by Tahlil and Doa Kesyukuran.
The event ended with the Asar prayer, led by APO Staff Sargeant 6472 Mohammad Yusri bin Haji Abu Bakar.
