The Royal Brunei Police Force Sports Council (MSPDB) held the final match of the RBPF Badminton Tournament at the Hassanal Bolkiah Stadium, Police Headquarters in Gadong recently.
Commissioner of Royal Brunei Police Force Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Mohd Irwan bin Haji Hambali was the guest of honour.
Deputy Commissioner of Royal Brunei Police Force Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Sulaiman bin Alidin was also present.
The final match witnessed a competitive meeting between officers and members of the Royal Brunei Police Force of various age groups by category.
The tournament contested six categories namely the women’s team open, combined officers and mixed low-rank members, men’s team open, mixed team of male and female officers, male officers veteran team 45 years and over and male officers team open.
The tournament aimed to strengthen relations and friendship among officers and members in addition to practicing a healthier lifestyle among the police force community. – Fadhil Yunus
