With the consent of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, a senior officer of the Royal Armed Forces Brunei (RBAF) has been promoted from Lieutenant Colonel to Substantive Colonel.
The rank insignia was presented by Commander of the RBAF Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, for the promotion of Colonel Mohammad Salehudin bin Dato Paduka Haji Puasa, Aide-De-Camp to His Majesty, in a ceremony that took place at the Officers’ Mess at Bolkiah Garrison on Friday.
Also present were Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, members of the Defence Executive Committee and RBAF Executive Committee, Military Directors and Senior Officers of the Ministry of Defence as well as family members of the promoted officer.
The ceremony concluded with a Doa Selamat recited by Acting Director of the RBAF Religious Directorate (JAMA’AT) Lieutenant Colonel Abdul Mujib bin Haji Japar.
