Nissan Brunei, in collaboration with the Brunei Nissan Terra (BNT) Club, yesterday reached out to single mothers and widows with children in the Sultanate through its Nissan Charity Drive project, in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadhan.
The event, led by BNT Club representative Ahmad Eswadi bin Haji Mohd Taha saw the donation of daily necessities and Hari Raya hampers to underprivileged families. According to Nissan representative Nur Liyana Amalina binti Suhili, the donations aimed to bring joy to the families ahead of the Hari Raya festivities and foster a sense of community and solidarity among the staff and club members.
The convoy was flagged off by corporate affairs manager Haji Ahmad bin Haji Abdul Razak at the Automagination Centre, with one group heading to Temburong and Brunei-Muara districts, while another to Belait and Tutong districts. – James Kon
