The Maritime and Port Authority of Brunei Darussalam (MPABD) organised its annual donation drive yesterday coinciding with the holy month of Ramadhan.
Ten families in Kampong Serasa received donations comprising food supplies, household essentials and educational material. MPABD’s Interim Chief Executive, Haji Mohammad Salihin bin Haji Aspar handed over the donations at the event held at Dewan Seri Kerna, MPABD headquarters.
Kampong Serasa village head Abdul Hamid bin Haji Zainin also participated.
MPABD also launched its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme ‘MPABD Prihatin’. ‘MPABD Prihatin’ reflects MPABD’s continuous initiative to reach out and provide aid to the underprivileged community and foster the spirit of giving among the staff, especially during this holy month of Ramadhan. – James Kon
