The Kampong Pelambayan Mosque yesterday held a Ratib Al-Attas ceremony to mark the Sultanate’s 40th National Day.
It was organised by the Women Affairs Division at the Mosque Affairs Department with the cooperation with Brunei-Muara Mosque Affairs Department (Zone 1) and Kampong Pelambayan Mosque.
The ceremony aimed to create awareness and understanding on the blessing of peace and prosperity enjoyed by the nation, instil love towards the nation and create awareness on their role in making Brunei Vision 2035 a success.
The event also aimed to glorify the National Day celebration with Zikir, encourage daily practice towards supporting the aspiration as a Zikir nation and forge closer ties among the congregants.
Acting Head of Muslimah Affairs Division at the Mosque Affairs Department Pengiran Hajah Alizah binti Pengiran Haji Tahir was among the attendees. – Azlan Othman
