    Ramadhan iftar boasts exclusive experience

    Brunei’s gourmet experience is set to reach new heights as Zen of The Empire Brunei unveils an exclusive gastronomic experience, available for a limited time.

    From March 18 to 29, food enthusiasts can indulge in a meticulously curated menu that blends premium ingredients with expert craftsmanship, promising an unforgettable dining experience.

    Located at The Empire Brunei, Zen is renowned for its fusion of Japanese-inspired flavours with modern culinary techniques.

    For this special period, Zen will be serving its offerings at Pantai Restaurant, presenting a special menu featuring a selection of exquisite dishes, starting with the salmon volcano sushi rolls, a delightful combination of fresh salmon, creamy mentaiko sauce and a burst of ikura.

    Guests can also warm up with a comforting clam miso soup, packed with umami goodness. For the mains, diners can savour perfectly seared Australian wagyu beef, served with crispy garlic chips, as well as the Catch of the Day, complemented by rich kombu butter.

    Adding depth to the menu is the sautéed assorted mushroom, offering an umami-rich side to enhance the meal.

    Carb lovers will not be disappointed, as the menu also includes garlic fried rice, made with premium nanatsuboshi rice and yaki udon, stir-fried with teriyaki chicken and crisp vegetables.

    To complete the experience, guests can indulge in the mango bingsu, a refreshing, fruity dessert that perfectly balances sweetness and texture. – Rafidah Hamit
