The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) on Thursday spread cheer among staff and special needs students from Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam during a ‘Sungkai Kasih Ramadhan’ event.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Tahlil and Doa Selamat by Mosque Affairs Officer at the Ash-Shaliheen Mosque Haji Mohammad Izzat Izzuddin bin Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Haji Emran.
The event proceeded with the presentation of donations and souvenirs by Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof and Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, the special guests.
Pusat Ehsan Senior Trustee Dato Paduka Haji Alimin bin Haji Wahab received the donation from Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi. Pusat Ehsan Trustee Dato Paduka Dr Haji Omar bin Haji Khalid received the donation for Pusat Ehsan School from Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew.
Both special guests also presented souvenirs to special needs students at Pusat Ehsan. The event continued with an iftar with the staff and students of Pusat Ehsan.
The special guests with other invitees had a meet and greet session with the students and staff from Pusat Ehsan. Deputy ministers, permanent secretaries, and deputy permanent secretaries at the PMO; members of the Boards of Trustees of Pusat Ehsan; heads of departments; and officers and staff of the PMO were also present. – James Kon
