Brunei Darussalam will observe the first day of Ramadhan on Tuesday, 1st Ramadhan 1445 Hijrah, corresponding to March 12 2024.
The announcement was broadcast on Radio Television Brunei (RTB) this evening following the failure to sight the hilal (crescent) at vantage points set up across the country.
As Muslims in the country begin fasting on Tuesday, Sunnat Tarawikh prayers, Sunnat Witir and Tedarus Al-Quran will begin Monday evening.
