Ramadhan begins tomorrow

Brunei Darussalam will observe the first day of Ramadhan on Thursday, 1st Ramadhan 1444 Hijrah, corresponding to March 23 2023.

The announcement was broadcast on Radio Television Brunei (RTB) this evening following the sighting of the hilal (crescent) at one or more vantage points set up across the country.

As Muslims in the country will begin fasting tomorrow, Sunnat Tarawikh prayers, Sunnat Witir and Tedarus Al-Quran will begin this evening.
