Students at Sufri Bolkiah Secondary School attended a briefing on HIV recently.
Around 120 Year 9 students attended the Brunei Darussalam AIDS Council’s (BDAIDSCouncil) HIV Awareness Programme for Peers and Youths (HAPPY) by executive committee member of BDAIDSCouncil Siti Najihah Kamilah binti Latif.
She highlighted that statistics on sexually transmitted infections (STI) and teenage pregnancies and can be curbed by applying abstinence and not engaging in risky behaviour.
The BDAIDSCouncil hopes students can bring home the message and apply it to their daily lifestyle.
