The Radio Control Boat Racing Association (RACOBRA), together with TJRC Duratex Team, organised a radio control boat race at Kampong Tanah Jambu last weekend in conjunction with His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s 76th birthday celebration.
A total of 87 radio control boats contested across five different categories: F1 piston 38mm and above; F1 35cc below piston 36mm below; local mono open cc; mono import open cc; and F1 import open cc.
The event also saw participants from Limbang, Sarawak.
RACOBRA Deputy President Hirman bin Ladis and Duratex Team Manager Keegan Khoo presented the prizes.
The radio boat race was held for the first time since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in Brunei.
