Pengiran Anak Puteri Amal Umi Kalthum Al-Islam Religious School in Mulaut; Panglima Barudin Religious School in Kampong Limau Manis; Lumapas Religious School; and Kampong Bolkiah Religious School advanced to the semi-finals of an An-Najah Quiz Competition for Year 6 students of Religious Schools at Junjongan Religious School yesterday.
The programme, organised by the Committee of Religious Schools (JKPSSU) Leaders for Brunei Zone IV of the Islamic Studies Department (JPI) aims at producing excellent students, strengthen understanding in religious subjects, as well as fostering enthusiasm and motivation ahead of the Religious Primary Schools Education Certificate (SSSRU) Examination.
District Islamic Education Officer for Brunei Zone IV at the JPI Hajah Mu’izzah binti Kefli, the special guest, handed over the prizes.
The event was one of the initiatives of the Religious School Division, JPI under the An-Najah Programme to support the Ministry of Religious Affairs Strategic Plan 2020-2024. – Azlan Othman
