QAF Prestige all set to deliver luxury

Starting from January 1, Porsche Brunei, formerly under QAF Eurokars Sdn Bhd, is now represented by newly established company QAF Prestige Sdn Bhd.

The announcement was made by Porsche Brunei General Manager Lahiru De Silva in his opening remarks at the annual media appreciation event held on Thursday night at the Porsche Centre Brunei.

The general manager said, “As Porsche Brunei, we pride ourselves on being the caretakers of our customer’s sports car dreams.

“Our new company name, QAF Prestige, symbolises our commitment to excellence, both in terms of products and the highest quality of service. 2022 was a milestone year for us as we celebrated our customer-centric experiences to greater heights in 2023.”

QAF Prestige aims to deliver ‘inspiring moments of luxury sportscar experience’. Nonetheless committed to delivering the highest level of excellence in Porsche products and services, the vision is set to be the pioneer of nationwide exclusive and exciting mobility solutions remains.

Similarly, the mission is to accelerate the ownership experience of exclusive mobility products and to continue to provide excellent service to all the customers in the nation.

Another impressive feat that Porsche Brunei has achieved last year despite the COVID-19 pandemic was a sales increase of 44 per cent year-on-year and the highest number of electrified Porsche units registered in a year.

Lahiru highlighted, “the high share of electric Porsche models is supported by Porsche Brunei’s efforts to enhance the electric vehicle (EV) ownership experience”.

“In September 2022, the country’s first Porsche Destination Charging site was launched, marking crucial milestones as the transition to EVs gathers pace in Brunei.”

He also revealed that following the introduction of Porsche Destination Charging in 2022, Porsche Brunei also plans to launch the first DC Charger at Porsche Centre Brunei in 2023 that provide faster charging for Porsche EV owners in the country.

New and exciting models will be introduced in 2023 include the 911 Dakar, 911 GT3 RS, 718 style edition and the new Cayenne.

The highlight of the event was the launch of the new and very exclusive Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS.
