The Blood Donation Centre under the Department of Laboratory Services has lined up several blood donation campaigns and urged the public to help boost the national blood supplies.
A campaign will be held at Seri Kenangan Hall in the Tutong District by Radio Television Brunei today from 10am to 2pm, to mark its ‘Badudun Bersama Biskita’ roadshow.
A blood drive will also be held at the Bandar Seri Begawan Municipal Department’s building tomorrow from 8.30am to 11am in conjunction with the 54th anniversary of the renaming of Brunei Town to Bandar Seri Begawan.
The Blood Bank at Suri Seri Begawan Hospital in Kuala Belait, in collaboration with Jollibee Brunei, will also hold a campaign on October 11 on the ground floor of KB Sentral Shopping Centre, from 9am to 11.30am and 2pm to 3pm
A blood donation drive will also be held on October 12 at Suri Seri Begawan Raja Pengiran Anak Damit Mosque in Kampong Manggis Madang, from 9am to 11am and 1pm to 3pm, organised by the mosque’s takmir committee.
The public can also make a contribution at the Blood Donation Centre, Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital, between 8am and 11.30am and 1.30pm and 4pm. The public is encouraged to book their slots through the Bloodkad app prior to making a contribution.
