There are over 50,000 stray animals in the country. To address the issue, I would like to propose taking a portion of the salary from all public and private sector employees and channel the money to non-profit organisations dealing with strays.
With sustainable solutions such as mandatory contribution, I believe the stray animal issue could be solved overnight. I am convinced that the idea will work as long as everyone does their part by contributing a portion of their income for a greater good.
