Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar, in response to a query regarding not receiving food rations while undergoing the quarantine order (QO), urged the public to be patient in facing such hiccups.

The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports holds the task in distributing the food rations, he added, and apologised for the delays on behalf of the government. “Nonetheless, now is the time for the public to be considerate and empathise with those who are less fortunate, especially in times of emergency, even when it is their right to the food rations as individuals undergoing the QO.

“If you can afford or have family members taking care of your needs, I seek your consideration to pass on the ration to the less fortunate who are also undergoing QO,” Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham said.
