The Ministry of Religious Affairs, through the Islamic Da’wah Centre (PDI) in collaboration with Muslim convert associations, organised Fathul Barakah 4.0 Project yesterday.
The project, carried out simultaneously in all four districts, gave the public a chance to contribute basic necessities to underprivileged converts in preparation for Ramadhan.
The drive-through collection in the Brunei-Muara District was held at PDI’s Darul Hana building, witnessed by Director Haji Abdul Rajid bin Haji Mohd Salleh.
Similar drive-throughs were used at Dakwah Unit offices in Belait, Tutong and Temburong districts.
The two-day collection runs from 8.30am to 4pm.
Contributions sought include rice, sugar, cooking oil, flour and dried items such as anchovies, dried shrimps, onions, biscuits and canned foods.
