Construction materials are used on a daily basis, thus it is crucial that they are reviewed and approved by the authorities for use by the construction industry, to ensure adherence to the quality assurance and compliance set by the regulatory body.
However, there seems to be a noticeable lack of effort, with the transitional period stretching on for years. With the recent call for the regulation of registered and approved construction materials, I would like to call on the authorities to implement a system that can drive the industry in the right direction – towards Vision 2035.
