Programme launched to enhance mosque management skills in youth

In the process of developing youth, the role of mosques cannot be denied for its function not only as a place for performing religious and spiritual activities but also as a centre for community and national activities.

This was said by Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohd Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan during the launch of the Leadership and Mosque’s Glorify Programme for Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) students yesterday at Jame’ Asr Hassanil Bolkiah, Kiarong.

Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohd Tashim also believes that mosques play a role in human capacity building and the development of Islamic civilisation.

As such, he called on KUPU SB to continue to explore new methods in reaching out to the youth through activities such as establishing direct cooperation with youth groups.

He also made a call for KUPU SB to enhance mosque management skills by coordinating the mosque management and administration skills.
