Law Tiong Kian, the grand prize winner of the ‘Jetset to Your Dream Holiday with Michelin’ promotion campaign won a BND1,388 travel package.
He was represented by his niece, Josephine who received the grand prize.
Meanwhile, second and third prize winners Hajah Noorhadizah binti Haji Sulaiman and Stan Sim took home a new Google Pixel smartphone and a set of Samsonite luggage.
The prize presentation was held at Tyremart in Gadong yesterday. French Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Bernard Regnauld-Fabre was in attendance.
Law, who dropped by at the shop a week ago upon knowing the lucky draw result, said, “To have won the grand prize, I must be experiencing lots of good luck to start the new year. I am still deciding on the travel destination.”
Hajah Noorhadizah said she was happy to win the smartphone. She was in Istanbul with her family when she was informed by Tyremart.
Sim, from Kuala Belait, said “I have been using Michelin tyres for many years. I am happy that I won a set of luggage.” Tyremart received over 400 entries in the promotion campaign. The draw was held at the Sengkurong branch on December 22. Tyremart General Manager Tiew SC also presented the ambassador with a token of appreciation. – James Kon
