Prizes galore for Bintang Harmoni 2022 competition

Zulhelmi Junaini won the heart of the judges during the finals of Radio Television Brunei’s (RTB) Bintang Harmoni 2022 and was crowned the champion of the singing competition. 

Zulhemi, who walked away with BND2,000 cash prize, a trophy and a certificate, as well as named Best Performance and received an additional BND500 cash prize and a certificate.

Contestants Helmi Mohammad and Dorra Johara were named the runner-ups.

Helmi received BND1,500 cash prize and Dorra BND1,000 cash prize, along with trophies and certificates. 

The competition was the aim of national broadcaster RTB to support the local entertainment industry and to bring out local talents. 

The Bintang Harmoni 2022 finals, held at the Jerudong Park Amphitheatre on Saturday evening, saw 10 finalists vying for the top spot. 

Permanent Secretary (Civil Service Governance) at the Prime Minister’s Office Ajman bin Haji Meludin, the guest of honour, presented the prizes. 

Acting RTB Director Haji Azman bin Haji Abdul Rahim, senior officers and public members were also in attendance. 

This year’s competition was participated by 119 contestants from all four districts, of which 16 made it to the semi-finals and 10 to the finals.
