The Prisons Department marked its 69th anniversary yesterday with a religious ceremony at the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Mosque in STKRJ Kampong Rimba.
Permanent Secretary (Security and Welfare) at the Ministry of Home Affairs Salminan bin Haji Burut joined Director of Prisons Haji Mohammad Fadzillah bin Haji Ismail and Acting Deputy Director of Prisons Bahrin bin Haji Mohammad Yassin in the celebration along with directors and senior officers under the ministry as well as senior officers, officers and staff at the department.
