Members from the Oil Town Cyclist Group in Belait District distributed free bicycle head lamps to cyclists on Friday.
Led by Mohammad Yunos bin Haji Pungut, group members went around the town to find cyclists, mostly foreign workers, without head lamps on their bicycles.
Some 120 head lamps, sponsored by the Brunei Darussalam Cycling Federation, were handed out to promote safety awareness among the cyclists.
They were also briefed on the importance of using hand signals when entering or exiting road junctions.
