Agriculture, livestock and fishery sectors should be prioritised as they determine the survival of the nation and people and to make it more sustainable, Imams said in the Friday sermon.
“We must pray, put up efforts to develop agricultural, livestock and fishery sectors for the nation’s development and intensify our economic diversification,” they said.
The call was made as November 1 is declared as Farmers, Livestock Breeders and Fishermen’s Day by His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.
