Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (Yayasan), as the Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Muhtadee Billah Fund for Orphans (DANA) Secretariat, held a Doa Kesyukuran ceremony to commemorate the 48th birthday of His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office at the An-Naura Hall of the Yayasan Complex yesterday.
His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Malik, Chairman of the Committee of Governors of Yayasan graced the religious event.
The ceremony began with a mass Maghrib prayer, led by Chief Syari’e Judge Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Awang Salim bin Haji Besar. It proceeded with the recitation of Surah Yaasiin, Tahlil, Doa Kesyukuran and concluded with a mass Isyak prayer.
Present were Minister of Defence II Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof as the Chairman of Yayasan Board of Directors, Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar as Deputy Chairman of Yayasan Board of Directors, and Permanent Secretary (Planning, Land Use and Environment) at the Ministry of Development Dr Nor Imtihan binti Haji Abdul Razak as Acting Managing Director of Yayasan.
Members of the Yayasan Board of Directors and DANA Board of Trustees, along with members of the Yayasan Committee of Governors and teachers from Yayasan Sultan Haji Hasanal Bolkiah School also attended the event.
