The 19th CABIS will run simultaneously with the 19th China-Asean Expo scheduled to be held on September 16-17 in Nanning, China.

The year 2022 marks the first year of China-Asean Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and the implementation of Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP).

The 19th CABIS will focus on the theme ‘Sharing Opportunities Created by RCEP, Building a New Round of Upgrade of the China-Asean Free Trade Area (CAFTA)’.

The CABIS summit will see a roundtable dialogue between the state leader of Malaysia and CEOs from China.

Since 2009, the roundtable dialogue between state leaders of ASEAN countries and CEOs from China has been held successfully for 13 sessions.

The dialogue has promoted significant projects, cooperated by China and ASEAN, totalling USD80 billion in various fields including finance, machinery, telecommunications, infrastructure, tourism, energy and textiles.

It has become an important platform for government business dialogue and practical cooperation between China and ASEAN.

The 19th CABIS roundtable Dialogue between the state leader of Malaysia and CEOs from China will serve and promote progress of major projects between China and Malaysia.
