Preparing for Haj, Umrah

Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohd Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan made a visit to two Haj and Umrah course centres yesterday.

Intending pilgrims undertake Haj and Umrah courses organised in all four districts by the Haj Affairs Department to ensure they are receiving proper guidance on religious rituals before departing for their journey.

The deputy minister took a closer look at the programme for 150 intending Haj pilgrims at Pengiran Anak Puteri Hafizah Sururul Bolkiah Religious School in Kampong Perpindahan Berakas, as well as the Sungai Besar Religious School which had 103 pilgrims attending.

Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) Haji Mohammad Rosli bin Haji Ibrahim, and Deputy Permanent Secretary (Policy and Religious) at MoRA Haji Mohd Serudin bin Haji Timbang were in attendance.
