The Imarah Division of the Mosque Affairs Department in cooperation with Suri Seri Begawan Raja Pengiran Anak Damit Mosque Takmir Committee, will hold a preliminary round for the District Level Al-Quran Reading for Adults for 1444 Hijrah Competition.
It is organised to select male and female Al-Quran readers to compete in the next stage.
Participants must be citizens or permanent residents of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, Muslims following Mazhab Syafi’e of Ahli Sunnah Wal Jamaah and must be aged between 18 and 40 during registration.
Preliminary selection at district level will be held from November 1-3 at Suri Seri Begawan Raja Pengiran Anak Damit Mosque in Kampong Manggis Madang.
