The Examination Division of the Islamic Studies Department (JPI), the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) released the results for the Brunei Religious Education Pre-Higher Certificate (Pre-STPUB) and Brunei Religious Education Higher Certificate (STPUB) examinations for the 2024 academic year.
The results pertain to Pre-U1 and Pre-U2 candidates from Hassanal Bolkiah Boys Arabic Secondary School and Institut Tahfiz Al-Quran Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah.
A total of 265 candidates sat for the Pre-STPUB examination, with 261 candidates (98.49 per cent) obtaining at least one subject with a jayyid (credit) grade or higher. Of these, 181 candidates (68.30 per cent) achieved jayyid or better in all subjects taken.
Meanwhile, for the STPUB examination, 384 candidates participated, with 377 candidates (98.18 per cent) passing. Among the candidates, 202 (52.60 per cent) attained the mumtaz (excellent) grade.
Schools can collect the students’ results tomorrow from the Examination Division at the JPI, from 9.30am.
Students can collect their result slips at their schools, while private candidates must obtain their statements from the Examination Division’s office on the ground floor of the MoRA building, during office hours.
