A pre-departure briefing for 619 intending haj pilgrims provided information on what to expect prior to departure and arrival in Saudi Arabia. It also served as a platform to share knowledge on haj-related matters including logistics and management of their journey to the holy land.
The briefing for intending haj pilgrims registered under Darussalam Services Sdn Bhd (DSSB) for haj season 1445 Hijrah was held at Tarindak D’Seni in Bandar Seri Begawan yesterday.
Darussalam Holdings Sdn Bhd (DHSB) managing director Haji Mahmud bin Haji Mohamed, as the delegation head delivered the welcoming speech.
The managing director and four officials will depart for Saudi Arabia to ensure that the operations are in place before the intending haj pilgrims’ arrival.
The first batch of intending haj pilgrims are scheduled to depart on May 23. – Rokiah Mahmud
