The Fire and Rescue Department (FRD) held a recitation of Surah Yaasiin, Ratib Al-Attas and Doa Kesyukuran ceremony in conjunction with International Firefighters’ Day at FRD Headquarters Surau on Thursday.
Permanent Secretary (Safety, Welfare and Law) at the Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) Mohd Amir Hairil bin Haji Mahmud was present, joined by senior officers from the MoHA.
Some 74 officers and personnel of the department attended the ceremony including Acting Director of Fire and Rescue Lim Hock Guan, assistant directors, and senior officers.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Yaasiin, Ratib Al-Attas, Doa Kesyukuran and concluded with closing Doa by Head of Religious Teacher at Fire and Rescue Department Haji Othman bin Haji Asat.
