Event organisers, including guests, must practise social responsibility regardless whether specific guidelines and standard operating procedures are in place or not.
This was said by Minister of Home Affairs Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia (Dr) Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Haji Apong in response to a media query on seating arrangements for an event yesterday.
The minister added that it is up to each individual to evaluate the situation for the sake of everyone’s safety.
