The Department of Electrical Services (DES), Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) in a statement said that electricity supply has been restored in areas affected by the nationwide power disruption that started on Tuesday morning.
The department added that any complaints of electricity disruption can be relayed through Talian Darussalam 123.
The Bulletin however received some reports of power outages still persisting in several areas, including Mukim Gadong.
A significant power outage struck multiple regions of the Sultanate on Tuesday, starting at 11:30 am, causing widespread disruption in the daily lives of residents.
Affected areas included Mukim Gadong, Mukim Serasa, Mukim Mentiri, and Mukim Berakas in the Brunei-Muara District, as well as large sections in the Belait, Tutong, and Temburong Districts.
