The Women Scouts of Brunei Darussalam Association (PPNBD) carried out a charity project as part of its religious activities during the month of Ramadhan at the PPNBD surau in Beribi.
The activity, dubbed Jalinan Kasih Project, saw female scout members distribute bubur kacang hijau.
Women Scout Commissioner Skipper Hajah Nor Rahmat binti Haji Sidin said a total of 500 packs of the porridge were distributed by Scouts Chief Commissioner Haji Awang Badar bin Haji Awang Ali to members involved in the project.
The porridge was also distributed at Kampong Beribi and Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah, Police Gadong Surau, Beribi Fire Station, Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital and the PPBND Scout headquarters.
The project served as part of the Carnival 90 (K90) to commemorate the 90th year of PPNBD Scout movement in the Sultanate.
